Ingredients

For the Spicy Chili:

1 pound ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons Extra Hot Dipping Sauce

1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes

1 tablespoon paprika powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the Hot Dogs:

4-6 hot dog buns

4-6 hot dogs

Diced onions, for topping

Optional garnish: mustard and shredded cheese

Instructions

For the Spicy Chili:

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until it’s browned and cooked through. Break it up into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Step 2

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes, or until it becomes translucent and fragrant.

Step 3

Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for another 30 seconds until aromatic.

Step 4

Add the hot sauce to the skillet. Stir to coat the meat and onions with the spices.

Step 5

Pour in the drained and rinsed kidney beans and diced tomatoes (with their juices). Stir everything together to combine.

Step 6

Season the chili with salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust the level cayenne pepper, and hot sauce for your preferred level of spiciness.

Step 7

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let the chili simmer for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally. This allows the flavors to meld together, and the chili will thicken.

For the Hot Dogs:

Step 1

Grill or cook the hot dogs according to your preferred method until they’re heated through and have grill marks or a nice sear.

Step 2

Place each grilled hot dog in a bun.

Step 3

Ladle a generous portion of the spicy chili over each hot dog.

Step 4

Top with diced onions and any optional garnishes you prefer, such as mustard and shredded cheese.

Step 5

Serve your Hot Dogs with Spicy Chili hot and enjoy the delicious and satisfying combination of flavors and textures.
